3. Matthew 13:22 – why is it noteworthy that the two things mentioned that can choke the God's word in our lives are (a) the worries of this life and (b) the deceitfulness of wealth

4. Romans 12:2 In what was can prayer be part of renewing our minds? Share your thoughts about how our souls / minds need an oil change.

5. Revelation 2:4-5 Share with the group your experience of being guided through this listening to God exercise. Was there a section of the exercise that God particularly spoke to you through?

6. Why is listening prayer so vital? Why is it so difficult? What percentage of your prayer life is spent listening to God? Think of one way to grow in this area.
