Know
- K1 Call to mind a time when the words someone said to you either (a) encouraged you like crazy or (b) took the wind right out of your sails.

- G1 Take time to contemplate each part of “the gospel in 4 phrases”: “It is good” (Gen 1:27), “It is cursed” (Gen 3:17), “It is finished” (John 19:30) and “It is done” (Rev 21:6). How do these phrases help you grasp the fullness of the good news of Jesus?
- G2 Imagine the moment when God says “I am making everything new” (Rev 21:5). What do you think you will be feeling / experiencing at that moment? Take some time to speculate what that might be like?
- G3 God is the creator. As beings made in His image, we are mini-creators; how could this knowledge of the creative power you possess effect how you live your day to day life?
- G4 Consider the people who live in your corner of God’s universe: your neighbours (geographically close through circumstance) and your friends (emotionally close through choice). How is God calling you to speak recreation into their lives?
- G5 Consider Proverbs 26:20-22 and 20:19: why is gossip (a) so tempting and (b) so damaging? How could Genesis 1:3 and James 3:5-6 help us understand the role of the spoken word?
- G6 Dan said that words are like (a) bricks that build cities or (b) seeds that plant forests. With the words you currently speak, what kind of world are you creating?
Show
- S1 Take time this week to pray over SERVice Sunday this weekend! May God plant many seeds during our time out in the community!
