- The word inheritance is used over 50 times in these 6 chapters. Why is the word inheritance so important in the book of Joshua?
- Why did the Levites not receive any land as inheritance? Read Deuteronomy 18:2 to learn more.
- Why do you think there is so much detail of borders and boundaries in Joshua 13-19? Couldn’t the space have been used better in your mind?
- Read the complaint of the people of Joseph in chapter 17:14 and 16. Read Joshua’s response to their complaints in verse 15 and 17. How do you think he handled their complaints?
- Share about a time you’ve had a similar attitude to the people of Joseph in your spiritual walk.
- Read Caleb’s words in 14:10-12. How is his attitude different from the people of Joseph?
